Rick Jacobs

Rick Jacobs
Rickie Jacobs has more than 20 years of experience in the sport of wushu. Coach Jacobs also holds black belts in tae kwon do and the Filipino art of Arnis.

Rick is responsible for creating the first wushu program at Ohio State University and was awarded the Legend in Martial Arts medal by Grandmaster Choi for his work implementing the first wushu divisions in Karate tournaments throughout the midwest. He holds two black belts in wushu from two of the best Coaches in America, one from former Beijing wushu team member Zhang Guifeng, and his second from the National Wushu Training Center with Eric Chen.

Rick has been coaching for more than 10 years and has produced several region 7 and 8 champions in youth divisions for NASKA. Rick himself went undefeated in Longfist in 1996 and 1997 NASKA. Jacobs holds 16 gold medals in international invitational competitions across China in wushu and Taiji. One of the only American males to consistently defeat Chinese athletes in the Jian competition. Rick has also won two back to back Grand Championships in '97 and '98 at the Arnold Schwarzenegger international martial arts expo. Those same years Jacobs was a co-sponsor with Eric Chen in helping to bring the Beijing Wushu Team to America to compete at the Arnold Schwarzenegger MA classic where they won two years in a row.

Rick is now a member of the ReelKick Stunt Team and has done work on Spiderman, Urban Assault, various TV commercials, and recently served as Martial arts coordinator for STUFF magazine. He also wishes to thank his Arnis instructor Mark Parker (student of Remy Presas ).

Tim Storms

Tim Storms
Tim Storms has been practicing martial arts for 30 years. He received his first black belt in taekwondo when he was 17 years old. Tim has since studied and taught many various martial arts, including aikido, ninjitsu, and jiu-jitsu.

He began his training in wu-shu at the National Wu-Shu Training Center in Los Angeles, under the guidance of Eric Chen, where he earned his second degree black belt. Tim also has trained in China, with the world-famous Beijing Wu-Shu Team, and Coach Wu Bin, Jet Li's teacher.

Besides wu-shu, Tim teaches gymnastics, wire-work and stunts. He choreographs and performs stunts and fights for movies, television and live theatre. He has worked on blockbusters like THE MATRIX, SPIDERMAN 2, SWORDFISH,and SEABISCUIT. He was thrilled to fight against Jet Li in CRADLE 2 THE GRAVE. Tim is also a classically trained actor, writer and director.

 

Michelle


Michelle Lee was raised in Los Angeles and grew up in San Jose, California. A native to the west coast, she grew up an only child with dreams of television and movies. Currently, she holds a degree from UCLA, a certification as a Microsoft Professional and a real estate license, all in search of what she wanted to do with her life. Ultimately, Michelle achieved a black belt in Wushu with the National Wushu Training Center and began acting with the Piero Dusa Acting Convervatory and is currently studying at the Beverly Hills Playhouse. In these classes she learned about life. She learned that kicking a target with all her might can be strangely satisfying. And this is where she learned that if she could just act like she was a real ninja, the world could be twice as interesting. Her passion is art in every form, and that is why this martial artist/ actress/ model has also started a web design and headshot company with some very talented partners. Michelle has appeared in commercials for Propel Fitness Water, 10-10 Long Distance; Hyundai, Playstation; done various stage show such as the Paul McCartney Tour, the Sebastien Hair Show and the Sin City Tour; magazine articles in Impact and Inside KungFu; motion capture for videogames and movies such as including Golden Axe, Gotchaman and Food Fight; television shows such as Hollywood Division and NBC's Next Action Star; and movies, including Fifty First Dates, You, Me and Dupree and the summer blockbuster, Pirates of the Caribbean III.

   
Adam


Adam McArthur has been studying traditional Gung Fu, Sanshou Kickboxing and Judo for over 16 years with Grandmaster John Yee and Master Scott Yee at Yee's Martial Arts Academy in Hercules, Ca and recently received his black belt in Wushu from LA Wushu.  Adam has received over 100 medals and awards from different local, state, and national competitions, including recognition for these accomplishments from local Bay Area cities.  In 2002, Adam won the Men’s All Around title at the USAWKF Nationals in Orlando, FL for Traditional Gung Fu and in 2003, he won the Men’s All Around title at the UC Berkeley Chinese Martial Arts Tournament in the same category.  He was featured in the PBS documentary "Kung Fu Journey to the East" and has been seen on TV in a pilot for Nickelodeon, on WB's Jack & Bobby, as well as over 15 national commercials including Sprite, Nintendo, McDonald's, and State Farm Insurance.

Originally from Miami, Florida, Robert has studied martial arts for over 25 years and specializes in swordplay and fight choreography for feature films. He has taught classes in stage combat at the Inosanto Academy, Westside Fencing Center, University of Central Florida, UCLA, National Wushu Training Center, Strausberg, and the Hollywood Clash Workshop.

Robert is certified with the SAFD, SBFD, and FDC (Society of American, British, and Canadian Fight Directors) and has worked with stars such as: Robin Williams, David Hasselhoff, John Saxon, Marc Singer, Richard Grieco, Richard Lynch, Mike Norris, James Lew, Olivier Gruner, Jeff Conaway, Raye Hollitt, Tessie Santiago and Angelica Bridges.

Robert can be seen starring in the action adventure feature films Ring of Steel and Dragon Fury. His credits also include work on Hook and Army of Darkness. For more information, check out his website at www.robertchapin.com
